I saw them on the Rattus tour at Brighton Art College , Jet was slumped out near the entrance on a pile of empty beer crates as we got in ,did well to get to 84 . R.I.P.

He held the band together in many ways.
Him and JJ Burnel were a magnificent rhythm section.
Men in Black is my favourite of theirs.

RIP indeed. The Stranglers were never a punk band, whatever anybody claims.

Rattus was a defining piece of art. Never tire of playing it.
